129 LM Thapar School of Management MBA students placed; Rs 21.32 lakh highest salary

NEW DELHI: Of 156 students of LM Thapar School of Management who participated in the placements, 129 students have been placed. The highest salary bagged by the students is Rs 21.32 lakh per annum. The average salary package this year is Rs 7.02 lakh.
Across the sectors which made offers to the students of LMTSM, the management consulting sector is the highest recruiting sector. Whereas, consulting is the highest recruiting domain with tax consultant as the top job profile, according to an official statement from the institute.

While 73 companies participated in the placement drive of LM Thapal School of Management, some of the top recruiting companies are American Express, Deloitte, PwC, Ernst & Young, Volvo Eicher, Hyundai, ZS, Xiaomi, JSW, Xebia, Accenture, Reliance, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Asian Paints, Nestle, Smartcube, and Newgen Software. American Express made the highest number of offers.
According to the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) ranking 2021 in management category, in the year 2019-20, 129 students graduated from the Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology out of which 100 students were placed with a median salary of Rs 5.79 lakh.

LM Thapar School of Management (LMTSM) was established on July 23, 2007 in Patiala, Punja under the flagship of Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology (Deemed-to be-University), a 64 year old academic institution. The tech-savvy campus is set on a sprawling area of 33 acres. With students from all across India, LMTSM has a residential facility for over 500 students, as per its official website.
