Madhya Pradesh TET 2024 registration begins today at esb.mp.gov.in; exam pattern

NEW DELHI: Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board (MPESB) will open the registration window for the Primary School Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) 2024 for government teaching jobs today, October 1. Interested candidates will be able to apply for Madhya Pradesh TET 2024 by visiting the official website esb.mponline.gov.in. As per the schedule, the last date to apply for Madhya Pradesh TET 2024 is October 15, 2024.
The MP TET 2024 exam is scheduled to be held on November 10, 2024, in two shifts. The Madhya Pradesh TET first shift will be from 9 am to 11:30 am, and candidates must report to the exam centre between 7 am and 8 am. The second shift exam will be held from 2:30 pm to 5 pm.
The validity of MP TET 2024 qualification is for a lifetime. Candidates who qualified in the 2020 edition of the examination are not required to appear again, the board said.
Madhya Pradesh TET 2024 exam pattern
The MP TET 2024 exam pattern consists of two papers, depending on whether the candidate is applying for primary or upper primary teaching positions.
1. MP TET Paper 1 (For Primary Teachers, Class 1 to 5)
- Total Marks: 150
- Duration: 2.5 hours

- Child Development and Pedagogy: 30 questions (30 marks)
- Language I (Hindi/English): 30 questions (30 marks)
- Language II (English/Hindi): 30 questions (30 marks)
- Mathematics: 30 questions (30 marks)
- Environmental Studies: 30 questions (30 marks)
- Total Questions: 150 (1 mark each)
- Question Type: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
- Negative Marking: No negative marking.
2. MP TET Paper 2 (For Upper Primary Teachers, Class 6 to 8)
- Total Marks: 150
- Duration: 2.5 hours

- Child Development and Pedagogy: 30 questions (30 marks)
- Language I (Hindi/English): 30 questions (30 marks)
- Language II (English/Hindi): 30 questions (30 marks)
- Mathematics and Science OR Social Science: 60 questions (60 marks)
- Total Questions: 150 (1 mark each)
- Question Type: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
- Negative Marking: No negative marking.
Candidates belonging to general or unreserved category will be required to pay MP TET 2024 application fee of Rs 500, while reserved category candidates such as SC/ST/OBC, Economically Weaker Section (EWS), and persons with disabilities (PWD) who are residents of Madhya Pradesh will pay Rs 250 as application fee.
