Subscribe NowNEW DELHI: The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, has revised the exam dates for the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test 3-year LLB 2025 due to a clash with the NEET 2025. The MAH CET 3-Year LLB 2025 exam will now be conducted on May 2, 3.
As per the official notice, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has booked several examination centres in Maharashtra for NEET UG 2025, which is scheduled to be held on May 4. Many of these centres were also reserved for the CET examination. However, from May 3, 2025, these centres will no longer be available for CET due to NEET-related preparations. Initially, the exam was scheduled to be held on March 20, 21, which was later rescheduled to May 3, 4.
“The All India level NEET 2025 exam is being conducted in Maharashtra state on 04/05/2025. Some examination centers located at district places have been booked for the examination by National Testing Agency (NTA) that were booked for the CET examination too. Now, these centers are not available from 03/05/2025. Therefore, these centers cannot be utilised for conduction of CET examination,” the official notice said.
The CET cell further explained that, in addition to the unavailability of centres, university and college examinations are also set to take place throughout May, making it impossible to postpone the CET further without disrupting the Centralised Admission Process and the result schedule.
Furthermore, the number of candidates registered for the MAH CET 3-Year LLB 2025 exam is significantly high in some districts. A total of 57,000 candidates will appear for the MAH CET 3-Year LLB 2025 exam on May 2, while 38,000 candidates will take the exam on May 3.
To accommodate candidates according to the preferences they indicated in their application forms, the exam will now be held across two days. Law aspirants will be able to download their MAH CET 3-Year LLB hall ticket 2025 through the official website at cetcell.mahacet.org, once available.
