In the 2025-26 academic year, 42,677 students were admitted to MBA-MMS courses in the state. This year, admissions were conducted through four rounds of the Centralised Admission Process (CAP), followed by an institutional round.
There are 56,931 seats across 412 MBA-MMS colleges in Maharashtra. Of these, 44,788 seats have been filled, leaving 12,143 seats vacant after the institutional round. The vacant seats include around 11,000 seats under the CAP and 1,143 management quota seats.

Maharashtra MBA Admissions 2026: Round-wise data
The first CAP round recorded the highest number of admissions, with 19,783 students joining MBA-MMS colleges. The second round saw 11,225 admissions, followed by 4,410 in the third round and 2,820 in the fourth round.
