Try NowThe Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has released the Maharashtra NEET UG counselling 2026 round 2 selection list for medical and dental courses. Over 10,000 students have been allotted MBBS and BDS seats in Maharashtra NEET round 2 counselling 2026.
According to the MHT CET Cell press release, a total of 8,442 have secured MBBS seats, and 2,496 have secured seats in BDS courses. Around 11,100 seats were available across both courses, and 258 seats remained vacant.
For MBBS admissions, 4,910 students secured seats in government colleges, 3,149 in private colleges, and 383 in private universities. In addition, 302 students were admitted to government colleges, 2,113 to private colleges, and 81 to private universities.
Maharashtra NEET UG counselling 2026 round 2
Students who have been allotted a college in Maharashtra NEET UG counselling 2026 must confirm their admission by visiting the allotted college by September 18, carrying the necessary original documents and a demand draft for the required fees.
Candidates can download the Maharashtra NEET UG counselling 2026 round 2 selection list on the official website at medical2026.mahacet.org.
Additionally, for admission confirmation, payment of fees via cheque is permitted on bank holidays; however, the cheque must be replaced with a demand draft on the next working day. Failure to submit the demand draft on the next working day may result in the cancellation of the candidate's admission, the State Cell said.
