Maharashtra NEET UG Counselling 2024: Round 2 selection list postponed due to technical error

Try NowNEW DELHI: The Common Entrance Test (CET) cell informed that the provisional selection list for the second round of Maharashtra NEET UG counselling 2024 has been postponed and will now be issued after 6 pm today, October 1. As a result, the last date for reporting to the colleges allotted under the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) round 2 for MBBS, BDS courses has been extended till October 6.
“This is for the information of all candidates that due to technical error the selection list for CAP-2 of MBBS/BDS course will be declared on 01/10/2024 after 06.00 PM. Accordingly, the last date of joining of CAP-2 for MBBS/BDS courses State counselling is extended up to 06/10/2024 05.30 pm,” said the CET cell in an official notice.
The cell also informed that there is a possibility that a few government colleges which are in process may be granted permission for offering admissions for the academic year 2024-25 by the National Medical Commission (NMC) before the third round of counselling. This will lead to an increase in the overall intake for the MBBS courses, it stated.
Initially, the Maharashtra CAP 2 round MBBS, BDS provisional selection list was scheduled to be announced on September 30 and the dates for filling the retention form with original documents and fee payment were October 1 to October 4.
