NEW DELHI: The Common Entrance Test (CET) cell has announced the schedule for the second and third round of Maharashtra NEET UG counselling 2024. Accordingly, the last date to resign the seat joined during round 1 is September 25. The seat matrix for MBBS, BDS admissions through the National Eligibility Entrance Test - Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2024 will be published on September 26 at cetcell.mahacet.org.

The CET cell also issued instructions for candidates. It advised them to ascertain their eligibility for each round as per the NEET UG 2024 information brochure.
“The filling of status retention form is the choice of the candidate. However, status retention form once filled cannot be taken back. Hence, candidates should be careful about filling the status retention form,” it said.
If candidates fail to resign before September 25, they will be considered as part of CAP-2 and rules will apply accordingly.
