Maharashtra SSC result 2023 tomorrow; lowest to highest pass percentage, students’ performance

NEW DELHI: Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, MSBSHSE will announce the Maharashtra SSC result 2023 tomorrow at 1pm. Students who appeared for Maharashtra Class 10 board exams 2023 will be able to check their scores on the official website – mahresult.nic.in. In the last 10 years, Maharashtra SSC or Class 10 pass percentages saw a constant fluctuation with massive drops and ups in the percentage of passing students. Last year, the pass percentage dropped by almost three percentage points in comparison to previous year. While 2019 witnessed the lowest performance of students with 77.1% overall percentage; 2021, which is the year after Covid hit India, saw the highest pass percentage of 99.95%.

The number of students appearing for Maharashtra Class 10 board exams stood between around 15 lakh to over 17 lakh. Girl students have been performing better than male students. However, the pass percentages of both girls and boys remained almost the same in the year 2021.

If we look at the overall pass percentages of Maharashtra Class 10 students over the last 10 years, the percentage went up till 2015 from 83.48% to 90.18% but started dropping from 2016 (89.56%) and went down to 77.1% in 2019. The percentage again picked up with a drastic spike to 95.3% in the Covid year 2020 and increased to 99.95% in 2021. However, it again decreased to 96.94% last year.
