Download EBookNEW DELHI: The Maharashtra SSC result 2024 has improved as the overall pass percentage of students witnessed an increase of 1.98 percentage points this year as compared to the previous year. The Maharashtra Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MBSHSE) has declared the Secondary School Certificate examination result through a press conference today. A total of 15,60,154 students registered for Class 10 board exams 2024 of which 15,49,326 students appeared. 14,84,441 students have been declared pass. Girls have outperformed boys this year as well. 97.21% of girls passed the exam while boys recorded a pass percentage of 94.56%.
District-wise, Konkan recorded the highest pass percentage of 99.01% this year while Nagpur students ranked last in the list with 94.73% pass rate.
Amongst schools, over 9,000 schools recorded 100% result whereas no student passed in 38 schools in the state. The board chairman said while announcing the results that 145 cases of cheating have been reported along with two dummy students in the exams.
