Manipal Academy, YES Bank launch one-year PG Diploma course in banking

NEW DELHI: YES Bank has partnered with Manipal Academy of BFSI to launch the “YES Professional Banker” programme. It is a one-year postgraduate diploma in banking for graduates who aspire to build a career in the banking and financial services industry (BFSI). The selection process includes an online assessment followed by interviews. The “YES Professional Banker” programme commences in February 2022.

Manipal Global Academy of BFSI YES Bank - Modules of one-year programme

The year-long ‘YES Professional Banker’ programme comprises three modules. It begins with a six-month on-campus residential learning experience, followed by a three-month internship and a three-month on-the-job training opportunity with YES Bank across the country.

Eligibility criteria for YES Professional Banker programme

• The candidate should be a citizen of India

• Hold a full-time graduation degree (with at least 55 per cent marks)

• Be up to 28 years of age on the date of application

Benefits offered

• Candidates will be offered loans and full fee reimbursement options

• Successful candidates from the programme will be hired in suitable roles by the Bank with competitive compensation packages

• Candidates who complete the programme in the predefined tenure and meet the required performance levels will have their entire programme fee reimbursed

Once the one year programme is complete, candidates are awarded a Post Graduate Diploma in Banking from Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), and the ‘YES Professional Banker’ certification from YES School of Banking.
