NEW DELHI, MAY 11: Manipur Public Service Commission (MPSC) has postponed the preliminary exam of Manipur PSC 2019 which was to be held on May 12, 2019. The new exam date of Manipur PSC will be announced by the commission shortly. The admit card for the preliminary exam was released on April 25, 2019.
To download the admit card candidates have to enter their name and date of birth. Candidates who have downloaded the admit card must keep it safely. However, the commission has not announced any information regrinding the issue of new admit card.
As per the exam pattern Manipur PSC preliminary exam there will be two papers- Paper I and II. Both the papers are objective in nature which will be held for 2 hours separately. Each paper will be conducted for 200 marks.
Candidates who will qualify the preliminary exam will be eligible to appear for mains exam. The mains exam consists of the qualifying paper, compulsory papers, 5 papers compulsory papers and 2 optional papers. The total marks allotted for mains exam is 1750. The marks obtained by candidates in the paper I to VII will be taken into consideration for preparing the final merit list.
Manipur PSC is conducted for the recruitment of various administrative positions including Manipur Civil Service Grade-II Officers, Sub-Deputy Collector, Election Officer, Manipur Secretariat Service/Section Officer, etc. A total of 70 posts have been announced for the year 2019 recruitment.
