MBU’s School of Pharmaceutical Sciences awarded three-star rating in MHRD IIC Ranking 2023
Affiliated with JNTU Anantapur, MBU’s School of Pharmaceutical Sciences offers programmes in Diploma in Pharmacy, BPharm, and MPharm.

NEW DELHI: Mohan Babu University’s School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, formerly known as Sree Vidyanikethan College of Pharmacy (SVCP), has been granted the three-star rating in the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) Innovation Council (IIC) Rankings 2023.
The MHRD had declared SVCP’s three-star rating last month. “This extraordinary milestone solidifies SVCP’s position as a trailblazer in the realm of pharmacy education, showcasing its dedication to nurturing a culture of innovation and entrepreneurial prowess,” the institution added.
It said the new rating underscores SVCP’s unwavering commitment to advancement and sets a new benchmark for academic brilliance. MBU’s School of Pharmaceutical Sciences is affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Anantapur. It offers various programmes, including Diploma in Pharmacy, BPharm, and MPharm. “Supported by an esteemed faculty and a vibrant student community. Mohan Babu University’s College of Pharmacy continuously strives to empower students with a dynamic learning environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and transformative thinking,” the MBU-SVCP added.
This achievement in the MHRD IIC Rankings serves as a testament to SVCP's relentless pursuit of excellence in education, research, and innovation, it added. “The institution remains steadfast in its mission to drive impactful change and inspire the next generation of pharmaceutical leaders,” the SVCP said.

Mohan Babu University was set up 1992 in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. The campus of the university is spread over 40-acre. It was set up under the leadership of veteran Telugu actor-turned-politician M Mohan Babu and Vishnu Machu. The university offers more than 108 graduate and postgraduate programmes in fields such as engineering, computing, commerce, management, paramedical, health sciences, agriculture, liberal arts, sciences, media studies, and MBU Film Academy.
