Try NowThe Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has started the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Undergraduate (NEET UG) counselling 2026 choice filling for round 1 admission to MBBS, BDS, and AYUSH Nursing programmes. Candidates can fill their preferred choices of medical colleges and courses through the official website at mcc.nic.in.
The RESET Registration option for Round-1 of UG Counselling 2026 has been activated up to 11:00 AM on August 12, 2026, for candidates to make corrections and changes to the registration form by using unlock /re-set registration option.
As per the schedule, the last date for round 1 NEET UG 2026 counselling registration is August 12, 2026, and choice filling is August 13. The Committee will allot seats to candidates based on their All India Rank, choices filled, availability of seats, and reservation rules. Around 1,36,939 seats for the MCC NEET UG counselling 2026 process have been offered by the National Medical Commission (NMC).

The authority conducts NEET UG counselling 2026 for:
- 15% All India Quota seats MBBS and BDS seats of states
- 100% MBBS and BDS Seats of BHU OPEN
- AIIMS Open Seats: 100% MBBS Seats of AIIMS across India
- JIPMER Open (Puducherry and Karaikal) and internal seats (Domicile)
- AMU open and internal seats
- 85% Internal quota/domicile seats of DU, IP University (VMMC/
- ABVIMS/ESIC Dental)
- Jamia Open seats- Faculty of Dentistry (Jamia Milia Islamia) and internal seats
- 15% All India Quota Seats of ESIC & Insured Persons quota seats
- AFMC: Only registration
- 100% BSc (Nursing) of selected Central BSc Nursing Institutes
- Counselling under MCC shall include 100% seats of Deemed Universities, including 15% NRI seats
