The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will announce the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2026 round 1 seat allotment results tomorrow, August 21. Candidates seeking admission to MBBS, BDS, and BSc Nursing programme will be able to download the NEET UG counselling round 1 allotment list through the official website at mcc.nic.in.

The login credentials to download the NEET UG 2026 round 1 seat allotment results include registration number and password.

The MCC NEET UG 2026 counselling is being held for admission to various UG medical programmes under the 15% All India Quota (AIQ) and 100% of seats in Deemed Universities , Central Universities, AIIMS, JIPMER and AFMC institutions.

The committee began the NEET UG counselling 2026 choice filling process on August 6 and continued until August 18.

Those who will be allotted seats through the NEET UG counselling 2026 round 1 allotment, will have to complete the reporting process between August 22 and 31.

NEET UG 2026 Counselling: How to download round 1 seat allotment result

MBBS aspirants can check the steps given below to download the NEET UG round 1 seat allotment result.

• Go to the official website at mcc.nic.in.
• On the homepage, click on the link, “NEET UG round 1 seat allotment.”
• A new window will open.
• Enter login details such as registration or roll number and password.
• Click on the submit icon.
• NEET UG round 1 seat allotment result will be displayed on the screen.

The NEET UG round 1 allotment list will include details such as All India rank allotted quota, institute, course, allotted category, candidate's category, and allotment status.

• Class 10 certificate
• Class 12 marksheet and certificate
• Valid photo ID proof
• Passport-size photographs
• Category certificate, if applicable
• PwD certificate, if applicable

Once the NEET UG round 1 allotment is out, candidates will have two options to choose apart from accepting the seat. Firstly, they can select the “float” option if they want other seat options in the subsequent counselling rounds.

If they choose the freeze option, they will get an upgraded seat in the upcoming rounds, and the previous seat will be cancelled and retired to the counselling pool.
