Download nowNEW DELHI: The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test-Postgraduate (NEET PG 2023) counselling registration is expected to begin from July 15, as per India.com report. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will be announcing the NEET PG counselling dates 2023 soon on the official website, mcc.nic.in. Admission to PG medical courses for 50% All India Quota (AIQ) will be conducted based on the NEET PG score.
The NEET PG exam 2023 was held on March 4 and the result of the exam was declared on 14. Merit list for AIQ seats was published on June 16. Whereas, the category-wise merit list for state quota seats will be generated by the states and union territory as per their eligibility criteria and applicable guidelines. There will be four rounds of MCC NEET counselling 2023 - round 1, 2, mop-up round and stray round.

NEET PG counselling registration process
Registration - Candidates who are eligible will have to register on the MCC official website, mcc.nic.in, to participate in the NEET PG counselling 2023. They will have to enter their name, date of birth, roll number, NEET PG 2023 application form number, security code, and other relevant information to generate the login credentials.
Payment of NEET counselling fee - For AIQ or central university, general category candidates will have to pay Rs 1,000, while SC, ST candidates will have to deposit Rs 500. Candidates applying for deemed university will have to pay Rs 5,000.
Choice-filling - Candidates will have to opt course and college for NEET PG seat allotment as per their preference and eligibility. They will be able to apply for more than one college.
NEET seat allotment - The MCC will declare the NEET PG seat allotment result upon completion of registration process. Following this students will have to report to the alloted college before the deadline.
