NEET PG Counselling 2023: Maharashtra, Rajasthan, MP, UP revised schedule; state-wise updates

Use NowNEW DELHI: The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test -postgraduate (NEET PG 2023) counselling for admission to MD, MDS, PG medical courses is ongoing. The National Board of Examinations (NBE) after the approval of the Union health ministry reduced the NEET PG cut-off to zero for all categories. Several state counselling committees, including Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, have revised the counselling dates after the MCC dropped the cut-off to zero making all candidates who appeared in the exam eligible for counselling.
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) which was scheduled to declare the result of NEET PG round 3 counselling 2023 had reopened the registration window again due to the reduction in the cut-off. Due to which, some state counselling committees had also paused the NEET PG counselling 2023 due to the delay in publishing MCC NEET PG round 3 result.
The NEET PG round 3 allotment result 2023 was declared yesterday at the MCC official website, mcc.nic.in. The allotment status of 33,641 candidates who appeared in the NEET PG 2023 exam was published. As per the latest update, 8,191 fresh allotments were made in NEET PG round 3 counselling.

Notably, the Supreme Court had given permission to the National Medical Commission (NMC) to extend the last date for admitting students in PG medical courses till October 10 as a one-time measure.
Maharashtra NEET PG counselling 2023
The State CET Cell announced to commence the registration for Maharashtra NEET PG round 3 registration from September 18 and conclude on September 21. However, the registration process has been delayed by 5 days due to the delay in MCC NEET PG counselling 2023.
As per the revised schedule , the online registration and fee payment will have to be done by October 2. Although the CET Cell announced to conclude the counselling session September 30, way ahead of the deadline set by the NMC, the counselling for round 3 will now conclude on October 10.
MP NEET PG counselling 2023
The Department of Medical Education, Madhya Pradesh will announce the revised mop-up merit list today at the official website, dme.mponline.gov.in. Fresh choice filling and choice locking facility will be made available on September 30 for all candidates who are eligible after the lowering of the cut-off.
The MP mop-up round seat allotment result which was to be announced on September 22 has been postponed to October 5. The last date to report to the allotted college is October 10.
Rajasthan NEET PG counselling 2023
Today is the last date to submit the Rajasthan NEET PG counselling 2023 registration form. Candidates who are eligible will have to deposit the non-refundable application fee of Rs 3,000 and Rs 1,500 for reserved category by September 29. The provisional merit list will be published on the official website, rajpgneet2023.com, tomorrow, September 30.
Bihar NEET PG counselling 2023
Candidates who are eligible for Bihar NEET PG counselling 2023 after the reduction in NEET PG cut-off 2023 will have to register for the counselling process by October 1. Choices filled by already registered candidates will be considered null and void.
The merit list and rank card will be published on October 4 at the official website, bceceboard.bihar.gov.in.
UP NEET PG counselling 2023
The Directorate General of Medical Education and Training (DMET) Uttar Pradesh also revised the counselling schedule. Candidates will be able to apply for the UP NEET PG counselling 2023 mop-up round till September 29, 11 AM, at the official website, upneet.gov.in.
As per the revised schedule, the UP NEET PG mop-up round seat allotment result will be declared on October 5. Candidates selected will have to download the allotment order and report to the allotted colleges between October 6 to 10.
