Download EBookNEW DELHI: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will commence the registration for the second round of National Eligibility Entrance Test – Undergraduate (NEET UG) counselling 2024 tomorrow, September 5, for admission to All India Quota (AIQ) seats in MBBS, BDS programmes offered at medical and dental colleges. The last date to apply for MCC NEET UG counselling 2024 is September 10.

Candidates who registered during the first round of MBBS , BDS counselling and did not get any seat or didn’t report to the allotted seat are not required to register again. Those applying for the first time in round 2 will have to pay the registration fee and exercise fresh choices of colleges and courses.
If a candidate who registered in round 2 counselling is not allotted a seat, he or she can participate in round 3 directly without fresh registration.
MCC NEET UG Counselling 2024: Who is eligible for 2nd seat allotment?
The following candidates will be eligible for the second round of seat allotment:
- Registered candidates who did not get any seat allotment in the first counselling round.
- Registered candidates who have secured seat and whose round 1 allotted seat got cancelled during the document verification on reporting for admission will be considered for allotment of seat in the next round of seat allotment, with changed category, subject to availability of seat in respective category.
- Candidates who have reported at allotted institute during the first round of allotment and submitted willingness for second round up-gradation as yes.
- Candidates who have been allotted a seat but not joined.
- Candidates who have resigned in online mode from the seat allotted in the first round.

If a candidate is allotted a seat in the NEET UG 2nd counselling 2024 and doesn’t join, his or her security deposit will be forfeited.
