NEET UG Counselling 2026 LIVE: MCC round 2 registration starts on September 3; state-wise updates

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced the MCC NEET UG counselling 2026 round 2 dates. Candidates can register and pay for MCC NEET UG counselling 2026 round 2 on the official website at mcc.nic.in from September 3 to 8.

NEET UG counselling round 2 choice filling and locking process will end on September 9. MCC NEET UG counselling 2026 round 2 seat allotment results will be announced on September 11.

The MCC round 2 college reporting will begin on September 12 and the deadline is September 18. MCC allotted more than 29,000 MBBS and BDS seats in NEET UG round 1 counselling.

As per the MCC round 1 dates, medical institutes will either confirm or cancel the admission of candidate by 11 am, September 1.

Maharashtra NEET UG Counselling 2026

The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has declared the Maharashtra NEET UG 2026 counselling round 1 seat allotment results for 8,065 MBBS and 2,517 BDS seats have been allotted through the NEET UG round 1 allotment 2026 . Candidates who have been allotted seats will have to report to the college by September 4.

Punjab NEET Counselling 2026

The Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) Faridkot has declared the Punjab NEET UG round 1 allotment results , and more than 2,000 MBBS and BDS seats have been allotted. Notably, Dayanand Medical College, Ludhiana, and Government Medical College, Patiala, have remained the top choices for NEET rankers. Candidates will have to confirm their admission by September 5 in the Punjab round 1 counselling.

Moreover, 25 candidates have been debarred from 85% of the Punjab state quota seats for the academic year 2026-27 due to non-fulfillment of admission rules.

NEET UG Counselling 2026: State-wise updates

The Admission Committee for Professional Under Graduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPUGMEC), Gandhinagar has also published the Gujarat NEET counselling 2026 round 1 seat allotment results and more than 7,000 MBBS and BDS has been allotted. The top NEET ranker has been allotted a seat in B J Medical College Ahmedabad, under the government quota.

Additionally, NEET UG Counselling 2026 round 1 results for Uttarakhand, West Bengal, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, and other states have also been announced, and those who have been allotted seats will have to report to the allotted college along with the required documents to confirm their seat.

MCC conducts NEET counselling for 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats, while state authorities conduct counselling for 85% state quota seats in government, private medical colleges.
