MH CET Law 2026: 5-year LLB CAP registration begins; steps to apply

Eligible candidates can now apply for MH CET Law 5-year LLB counselling as the CET Cell opens CAP registration and document verification process
Maharashtra's State Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET) Cell has started the MH CET Law 2026 5-year LLB CAP registration today, June 19, 2026 on the official website of MAHACET at cetcell.mahacet.org. The last date to apply for the counselling is July 9, 2026.
Applicants who have cleared the MAH CET 5-Year LLB entrance test can apply for the centralised admission process (CAP). The official notice reads, “Candidates are requested to register for CAP and complete the CAP application form for their respective course(s) within the scheduled dates.”
Both Maharashtra State (MS) and Outside Maharashtra State (OMS) candidates are eligible to participate in the counselling process. Admission to the state's five-year LLB programmes will be granted only to those applicants who successfully complete all stages of the counselling procedure.

To register for the MH CET Law 2026 counselling, follow the steps given below:
- Visit cetcell.mahacet.org and create a new applicant account
- Upload the required academic and category-related documents
- Choose the preferred college from the available list
- Complete the counselling registration fee payment
- Review all entered details carefully
- Submit the counselling registration form and save a copy for future reference
MH CET Law 2026 5-Year LLB Counselling: Documents required
Applicants who are going to participate in the MH CET Law 2026 five-year LLB counselling process have to keep the following documents ready:
- Class 10 and Class 12 marksheet and certificate
- Graduation marksheet and degree certificate (if applicable)
- Migration certificate (if required)
- MH CET law 2026 scorecard
- Valid photo ID proof
- Domicile certificate (if applicable)
- Caste certificate (for reserved category candidates)
- Non-creamy layer Certificate (if applicable)
- EWS certificate (if applicable)
- Recent passport-size photograph
- Scanned signature

Applicants are advised to upload all required documents in the prescribed format, ensuring that the files are valid, legible and complete. Any discrepancy, missing document or incorrect upload may result in verification issues and could affect the candidature during the counselling process.
