MHT CET 2018 provisional merit list released

NEW DELHI JUNE 22- DTE Maharashtra has released the provisional merit list of MHT CET 2018 in online mode on June 21. Only those candidates whose names appear in the merit list will be eligible for participation in the counselling and seat allotment process which is slated to start from June 24. It may be noted that for candidates seeking admission on the basis of JEE Main 2018 ranks, separate merit lists will be released.
The provisional merit list is available category-wise – All India / Maharashtra/ J&K Migrant/ NRI/PIO/OCI/CIWGC/FN candidates. If the candidates have any grievances regarding the merit list, they will be able to send in their complaints from June 22-23. The exam conducting body will release the final merit list on June 24, after addressing complaints received by it.

How to check the merit list
- Go the DTE Maharashtra website
- Click on the “Check Merit List Status” tab
- A log-in window will open
- Log-in using application number, date of birth and security code displayed on screen
- The merit list will be displayed on screen upon successful log-in
The candidate may download and take a printout of the merit list.
Publication of Final Merit List
After publication of the provisional merit list, admission authorities allow a time-frame within which candidates will be able to register any complaints they have regarding the merit list. For making a complaint, the candidate has to furnish sufficient evidence supporting his or her claim. Also, there is likely to be a fee that has to be paid for by the candidate.
