NEW DELHI: The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra has released the MHT CET 2021 exam pattern along with the official brochure. The exam pattern of MHT CET 2021 includes many important details regarding the Maharashtra CET 2021 such as the mode of exam, duration, types of questions to be asked, total number of questions and much more. MHT CET 2021 will be conducted as a computer-based test.
The exam pattern of MHT CET 2021 has been released for both groups, PCM and PCB. There will be no negative marking in MHT CET 2021 exam, however, difficulty level will be at par with the JEE Main for mathematics, physics, chemistry and difficulty level for biology will be at par with NEET. Also, the questions asked in the MHT CET 2021 paper will be mainly application based.
Candidates preparing for MHT CET 2021 are required to check the detailed MHT CET 2021 exam pattern to strategize their preparation in a better way. As per the MHT CET exam pattern 2021, the Maharashtra CET 2021 will consist of three question papers of multiple-choice question (MCQ) and each paper will be of 100 marks.
According to the MHT CET 2021 brochure, approximately 20% weightage will be given to Class 11 curriculum, whereas 80% weightage will be given to Class 12 curriculum while setting the MHT CET question paper. Candidates can check the marking scheme and paper pattern below.

The authorities have also released the MHT CET 2021 application form on the official website. Candidates who wish to apply for Maharashtra CET 2021 can fill the online application form till July 7 (without a late fee) and till July 15 (with a late fee of Rs. 500).
This year, the State CET Cell, Maharashtra, has also relaxed the MHT CET eligibility criteria. The authorities have reduced the qualifying examination marks for all categories belonging to Maharashtra by 5% as compared to the previous year.
The authorities have not yet announced the MHT CET exam date 2021. However, as per media reports, MHT CET 2021 will be held by July end or first week of August.
