NEW DELHI: The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra has extended the Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) 2024 registration date with late fees till March 15. Candidates can now apply for the MHT CET 2024 exam by paying a late fee of Rs 500 through the official website, cetcell.mahacet.org.
The MHT CET exam is conducted every year for candidates who want to get admission in various undergraduate and postgraduate programmes including, engineering, pharmacy, agriculture, and health sciences in Maharashtra. It serves as a common entrance test for merit-based admissions to these courses.
As per the official exam schedule, the MHT CET Physics, Chemistry and Math (PCM) exam is scheduled to be held from April 25 to 30. The MHT CET Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) 2024 exam will take place from April 16 to 23. Both exams will be conducted in computer-based test (CBT) mode in two shifts. Shift one exam will be held from 9 am to 12 noon and the second shift exam will be conducted from 2 pm to 5 pm.
Candidates from the unreserved (UR) category are required to pay an application fee of Rs 1,000 to register for the exam. However, candidates falling under Scheduled caste (SC), Scheduled tribe (ST), Vimukta Jati/de-notified tribes (VJ/DTNT(A)), nomadic tribes (NT(B), NT(C), NT(D)), other backward classes (OBC), special backward classes (SBC), and economically weaker sections (EWS) categories from Maharashtra will have to pay Rs 800. The last date to pay the MHT CET 2024 application fee is March 16.

- Visit the MAH CET official website, mahacet.org.
- On the homepage, look for the MHT CET 2024 application form link.
- Now, fill out the application form by providing the necessary details.
- Upload the required documents and pay the application fee.
- Submit the application form and take a printout for further reference.
