In the latest development, the Maharashtra Fee Regulating Authority (FRA) has allowed all professional colleges in the state to hike the fees three times of the regular fees for management quota and five times for NRI quota seats.
Admission to Maharashtra engineering colleges will be based on the scores obtained by candidates in MHT CET PCM exam 2025 . JEE Main-qualified candidates will also be considered for admission, provided they have secured non-zero positive score in the NTA JEE BE, BTech paper over the candidates who obtained non-zero score in PCM MHT CET. Such candidates will be eligible to apply for all 29 disciplines declared by AICTE.
MHT CET and JEE-qualified candidates seeking admission in engineering colleges in Maharashtra should note that the fees under management and NRI quota has been hiked. However, the application fee details for the MHT CET CAP registrations have not been announced yet.
The MHT CET counselling date 2025 and seat allocation process is expected to be announced soon on the official website, cetcell.mahacet.org. As per past trends, the MHT CET counselling is likely to begin in the first week of July.
