MHT CET 2026: State Cell extends MAH MHMCT, MCA registration again till Feb 23

Students can apply for the MHT CET 2026 entrance exam on the official website, cetcell.mahacet.org. MHMCT, MCA exam on March 25 and 30, respectively.
The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell Maharashtra has extended the registration deadline for the Master of Computer Application (MCA) and Master of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (MHMCT) programmes once again. Students can apply for MHT CET 2026 MHMCT, and MCA entrance exams on the official website, cetcell.mahacet.org, till Feb 23.
The State Cell will conduct the MHMCT exam on March 25 and the MCA exam on March 30 .
Candidates from the General category, whether from Maharashtra or other states, must pay an application fee of Rs 1,500 for MAH CET 2026. Candidates belonging to backward classes, SC, ST, EWS, and other gender categories are required to pay Rs 1,300.
Candidates who have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 50% aggregate marks (45% for reserved categories) are eligible to apply for the MAH CET MCA 2026. For the MHMCT programme, candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management and Catering Technology or an equivalent qualification to be eligible.
Students who are appearing in the final year of their qualifying examination can also apply for the MHT CET 2026 MHMCT, and MCA programmes.
MHT CET 2026: Register without Aadhaar, APAAR
Recently, the State Cell has clarified that the students who are unable to complete Aadhaar and APAAR due to technical issues can also apply without authentication . Earlier, the State Cell commissioner addressed a conference and responded to challenges faced by students and said that no candidates will be barred from the exam even if there’s a mismatch of details in the application form.
The candidates were advised by the State Cell to update their Aadhaar details to apply for the MHT CET 2026 registration without any delay or inconvenience.
