As per the data, a total of 1,77,518 candidates have registered for MHT CET 2026 so far, including 1,07,627 for PCM, 53,176 for PCB, and 16,715 for the MBA exam.
According to the data, the MHT CET 2026 (PCM) has recorded the highest response among the three streams. A total of 1,07,627 candidates have confirmed their registrations by paying the fee, while 18,760 applications are still under processing. Of these, 30,281 applicants are appearing for the MHT CET exam for the first time, while 77,346 applicants have opted to utilise both attempts.
For the MHT CET 2026 (PCB) exam, the number of registrations confirmed with fee payment is 53,176, and 9,577 applications are currently under processing. According to the data on exam attempts, 28,474 candidates have opted for the first attempt, while 24,702 candidates have chosen both attempts.

MHT CET 2026: PCM tops registrations
Meanwhile, registrations for the MAH MBA, MMS CET 2026 exam have also received steady interest. A total of 16,715 candidates have paid the fees and confirmed their applications, while 9,207 registrations are still in process. Of these, 9,171 candidates are appearing for the first attempt, and 7,543 candidates have applied for both attempts.
For the MHT-CET 2026 (PCM and PCB) exam, 7 candidates have registered under the 'Other' gender category, 359 candidates under the orphan category, and 394 candidates under the persons with disabilities (PwD) category.
For the MAH MBA CET 2026 exam , 3 candidates have registered under the 'Other' gender category, 33 candidates under the Orphan category, and 71 candidates under the Persons with Disabilities (PwD) category.
As per the MHT CET 2026 schedule , the PCM group session 1 will be held from April 11 to 19, 2026, while the PCB group session 1 is scheduled from April 21 to 26, 2026. For the MBA, the MAH CET 2026 is scheduled from April 6 to 8, 2026.

MHT CET Registration: Last 3-year statistics
According to last year's district-wise data, Pune district registered the highest number of applicants for the MHT CET exam, with 1.45 lakh candidates.
Following Pune, the top five districts with the highest number of registrations included Thane, Ahilyanagar, Nashik, and Nagpur. Many students also applied from Mumbai Suburban, with over 57,000 registrations.
On the other hand, Sindhudurg district has recorded the lowest number of registrations at 5,583, followed by Gadchiroli and Ratnagiri districts.
