The State Common Entrance Test Cell Maharashtra has announced to reopen the registration window for the MHT CET 2026. Eligible candidates will now be able to register for the MTH CET for admission to engineering, agriculture and pharmacy programmes through the official website at cetcell.mahacet.org from March 19.

The MHT CET 2026 registration facility will be open for candidates seeking admission to BTech, BPharma, BPlanning and BArchitecture programmes until March 20.
This extension will be available with a late fee of Rs 500 applicable to all categories, according to an official notification.
The authority decided to reopen the MHT CET 2026 registration portal after receiving several requests from the candidates, especially situated in the rural areas across Maharashtra.
Those who were not unable to complete the registration process earlier, can apply for the college entrance MHT CET 2026 through its registration window.
Candidates should make sure they have created their APAAR ID through DigiLocker before starting the application process. The authorities have also made it clear that there will be no correction window for forms submitted during this extended period, so applicants need to fill in their details carefully the first time.

MHT CET 2026: How to apply?
To apply for MHT CET 2026, applicants can follow the steps given below:

Visit the official website of MAHA CET at cetcell.mahacet.org.

Click on new registration and then fill out the details like name, date of birth, email, and password.

Verify the email address and then log in using the email ID and password.

Provide digiLocker access for Adhaar and APAAR ID (if available).

Fill out the academic, personal, and communication details.

Choose a course and select exam centres

Upload the documents, make the payment and then submit.

Download the form and take a printout.
As per the tentative schedule, the MHT CET 2026 examination will be conducted in two phases. The first attempt is scheduled from April 11 to April 26, 2026, while the second attempt will take place between May 10 and May 16, 2026.
