However, MHT CET 2027 exam dates for both sessions have not been announced yet. The Maharashtra State CET Cell conducts entrance examinations and admission processes for admission to various professional undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
According to the CET Cell’s statement, such acts are creating confusion among students. Therefore, the CET Cell has decided to monitor this and take legal action against account holders on social media platforms such as X, Facebook, YouTube, and WhatsApp who spread incorrect information.
CET Cell’s notice to YouTuber
A YouTuber named Shiva, on the YouTube channel "Digital Master," had announced in a podcast the dates for both MHT CET 2027 exams, along with the application registration dates and result dates. This caused confusion among students and parents, and complaints about it were received by the CET Cell. The CET Cell has not yet announced the dates for the 2027 entrance examinations.
As a result, a legal notice has been sent to the ‘Digital Master’ YouTube channel, directing it to remove the video from YouTube immediately. The notice also directs the channel to broadcast a clarification on the channel itself and to submit a written explanation, along with supporting evidence, to the CET Cell.
A copy of this legal notice has also been sent to Google India's offices in Delhi and Mumbai, the notice adds.

- Claims of changing exam centres
- Claims of increasing percentile scores
Complaints about such social media activity should be sent to socialmedia.complaints@mahacet.org. The CET Cell will verify the authenticity of these complaints and take legal action accordingly, the CET Cell said.
Notably, as per media reports, Maharashtra is considering rescheduling both MHT CET 2027 attempts for engineering and pharmacy courses. The two attempts for the current academic year are planned for December 2026 and April 2027.
