NEW DELHI, MAY 14: Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) has announced the results of Class 10 and 12 on May 14, 2018. This year, the pass percentage in Class 10 and 12 has increased by 14.43 percent. The overall pass percentage in Class 10 is 66.54, whereas last year it was 52.11.
The pass percentage in Class 12 is 68 while it was 70.11 in 2017, there has been dip of 2.04%. Girls outperformed boys in both the classes. MP Board result 2018 for Class 10 and 12 is available on the official website – mpresults.nic.in. Candidates have to login with their roll and application number to check their result.
In Class 10, the first rank has been shared by Harshvardhan Parmar from Vidisha and Anamika from Shajapur districts. They secured total 495 out of total 500 marks. In Class 12, Shivani Pawar from Chhindwara district has topped the exam from Arts stream. Ayushi dhengula from and Lalit Panchauri from Shivpuri districts has topped from Commerce and Science Stream.
Total 7,65,358 students appeared in Class 12 of which 6,00,065 were from the regular caregory whereas 4253 students remained absent. A total of 1,08,358 failed the exams and nearly 4,04, 871 have passed. In Class 10, total 819929 appeared, out of which 5,45,137 passed the exam. The pass percentage among girls is 69.34 while it is 64.09 among boys in Class 10. The pass percentage among girls in Class 12 is 72.33 while it is 64.39 among boys.
The class 12 examination was conducted from March 1 to April 3, 2018 while Class 10 was conducted from March 5 to 31, 2018.
