MP School Admission 2023: Free enrollment in private schools ends tomorrow

The online lottery will be open for school allotment on March 28. Those children whose verification has been completed will be eligible for the online lottery.
NEW DELHI: The School Education Department, Madhya Pradesh will close the online applications window for free admission to private schools in MP under the Right to Education (RTE) Act, for the academic session 2023-24 tomorrow, March 23.
Children belonging to weaker sections and disadvantaged groups are eligible to apply for admission. The application form can be filled out through the RTE portal -- educationportal.mp.gov.in.

The School Education Department, MP stated, "Director State Education Center, Dhanraju S said that till March 23, the option for online application and error correction will be available on the RTE/Education portal. He told that till the afternoon of March 22, about 1 lakh 2 thousand 25 applications have been received."

Students who have applied are required to get their documents verified at the public education centers by March 25. Only those children whose verification has been completed will be eligible for the online lottery.

The online lottery will be opened for school allotment through a transparent random method on March 28. After the lottery process, the information about the allotted seat will be provided through SMS on the registered mobile number.
This year about 2 lakh 84 thousand seats are available for free admission in the first class of 27 thousand 314 private schools of the state.
