Telangana Model School will accept online MSAT 2026 applications till February 28; hall tickets from April 9 and exam on April 19.
The Telangana Model School, Hyderabad, has released the schedule for the Model Schools Admission Test (MSAT) 2026. MSAT will be held for admissions to Class 6 and also for filling vacant seats in Classes 7 to 10 for the 2026–27 academic session.
The application forms for MSAT are available at official website tgms.telangana.gov.in.
As per an official press note, the online application window will open on January 28 and will remain available till February 28, 2026. The application process will be open for students applying to Class 6 as well as those seeking admission against vacancies from Classes 7 to 10.
Telangana model school fees and exam date
The application fee for open category students has been fixed at Rs 200. For candidates belonging to Backward Class (BC), Scheduled castes (SC), Scheduled tribes (ST), Persons with Disabilities (PWD) and Economically Weaker Sections
(EWS) categories, the application fee is Rs 125.
Candidates will be able to download their hall tickets from April 9. The Telangana Model School Admission Test 2026 for Classes 6 to 10 is scheduled to be conducted on April 19 (Sunday).
According to the announced exam timetable, the admission test will be held in two shifts. The examination for Class 6 will take place from 10 am to 12 noon. For Classes 7 to 10, the test will be conducted in the afternoon session from 2 pm to 4 pm.
The exam centres will be located at Model Schools in the respective mandals of the candidates.
