MU First Merit List 2025: BK Birla, KPB Hinduja, Sophia College announce MU cut-off marks for BA, BCom, BSc

The MU merit list 2025 is prepared based on the marks obtained by students in Class 12 board results. BK Birla College, Kalyan, KPB Hinduja College of Commerce have announced the MU cut-off marks.
MU First Merit List (OUT): University of Mumbai has released the first merit list for BA, BCom, BSc and other undergraduate admissions. Students whose names are on the MU first merit list will have to complete online document verification and fee payment by May 30.
Over 800 affiliated MU colleges will fill seats in arts, commerce, and science departments through three rounds of Mumbai University UG counselling. The MU merit list 2025 is prepared based on the marks obtained by students in Class 12 board results. Marks secured in science subjects will be given weightage in some colleges for BSc admissions.
The MU cut-off for UG courses is now available on the respective official websites of the participating colleges. The MU admission fee may also vary for colleges and courses.
Sophia College for Women has set the admission fee for Maharashtra state board students at Rs 10,241 and for other board students at Rs 10,561. While the tuition fees at Bunts Sangha's SM Shetty College Of Science, Commerce and Management Studies for BCom is Rs 30,000, and BSc (IT) is Rs 50,000.

KPB Hinduja College of Commerce MU cut-off 2025
MU merit first list cut-off for the year 2025-26 for KPB Hinduja College of Commerce is given below. The Mumbai University UG admission cut-off has been increased for most courses, except for BCom.

“This year’s merit list reflects a growing shift in how students are approaching commerce education. The high cut-off of 90% shows that more students are actively seeking courses that offer not just academic knowledge but real-world skills and industry exposure,” Minu Madlani, academic advisor, KPB Hinduja College of Commerce, said.
