The Council of Architecture has released NATA 2020 admit card on August 25. Previously, the authorities had confirmed the NATA admit card 2020 release date as August 24. However, the admit card release was delayed. Candidates who have registered for the first test will be able to access and download the NATA admit card at
nata.in
by using their registered email address and password. Since NATA hall ticket 2020 is an important document, the candidates should print it out and keep it safely. Detailed guidelines regarding COVID-19 safety measure is also available through NATA admit card. COA will conduct NATA 2020 first test on August 29 in online mode. The test will be conducted both at home as an online proctored test, and at the test centres as well and the choice had to be made during NATA registration.

Steps to attempt NATA 2020 home based test
COA has released the steps to attempt the home based test of NATA 2020. Candidates can follow the steps to ensure that the examination is conducted smoothly:
- Go to nata.examonweb.com/examsetup
- Candidates will have to access the password.
- The secure exam browser has to be downloaded
- The installation guide has to be read.
- Click on setup created of secure browser
- Log into the panel
- Click on 'Start Entry'

SOPs for NATA test centre based exam
COA has also released SOPs for NATA 2020 which is to be held on August 29.

NATA hall ticket has to presented at the centre along with a valid identity proof.

The venue will be sprayed with disinfectant. Sanitizers along with liquid hand wash will be arranged at the entry gate, exam room, staff/observer room etc.

Thermal checking will be done for both staff and candidates at the entrance point.

Masks and gloves should be used during the whole time at the exam centre

The venue will be thoroughly sanitized after every session.

Staff will have to fill a self-declaration form about their health status before entering the exam area. If anyone fails to meet the self-declaration criteria or thermo gun check, he/she will be asked to leave the exam centre immediately.

Proper signage, symbols, posters and more should be displayed at appropriate places to maintain social distancing.

Students and staff will have to mandatorily download the ‘'Arogya Setu' app.

Crowding should be avoided at entry and exit points

Candidates having symptoms of fever, cough and cold will be made to sit in a separate room

Minimum distance between two candidates during seating should be 2 meters.

Instructions to follow during NATA online home based test
The listed instructions have to be followed during the home based test of NATA:

For the exam, the candidates will have to login using their User ID and password. Candidates will have to check their name which will appear on the left hand corner.

Candidates will not be allowed to disconnect/leave the examination before the scheduled time of conclusion.

In case the system of the candidate crashes, the same process has to be followed. Candidates will not be allowed to re-enter the exam after 10 minutes of delay.

Any malpractice will result in disqualification of the candidate. The following will be considered as malpractices:

Any pre-closure or disconnection of audio and video during the duration of the test

Disconnection of internet/ examination

Movement away from the screen for any reason whatsoever till the completion of test

Suspicious movement and audio capture

Use of calculators/ mobiles/ Bluetooth and other devices during the course of the test

Pre-exam general instructions for NATA online home based test
For candidates who have opted for online home based test, the following instructions have been given through NATA admit card:

The password for the examination can be accessed from nata.examonweb.com/examsetup/

Candidates will have to attempt the examination only from the place of residence.

At least 30 minutes before the exam, the candidates are requested to report online since procedures such as identity verification and venue/system security are to be done.

The same system which was used for mock test should be used for the exam to avoid technical delay or issue.

After 10:15 AM, the candidates will not be allowed to attempt the exam.

Original valid photo ID has to be shown to the exam proctor.

All of the instructions on the screen should be read carefully by the candidates.

What information is available through the NATA admit card?
After completing the NATA admit card download, the candidates will be able to check information such as their application number, login ID, date and time of examination, name, father’s name, date of birth, gender, category, test city and venue. Detailed instructions for the home proctored test or test centre based exam (whichever is applicable) is also given in the admit card.

NATA 2020 revised eligibility criteria
COA had earlier announced that in view of COVID-19, relaxation in eligibility criteria would be introduced for admissions into B.Arch courses through NATA 2020. According to the relaxed eligibility criteria, students who have passed class 12 or diploma courses will be eligible for admissions regardless of their marks.

NATA exam 2020 to be held in two modes
Due to the ongoing COVID-19, CoA will be conducting NATA 2020 as exam center based and home proctored test. Candidates had the choice of selecting their preferred mode of examination during the registration process. The remote home proctored test will be tracked through GPS so the candidates will be able to give the exam only from the address that they have mentioned in the application form. NATA exam date 2020 for the first test has been confirmed as August 29.

The exact time for the availability of NATA admit card 2020 download has not been announced. However, since the NATA hall ticket was released during the evening in the previous year, candidates may be able to access the admit card today in the afternoon.
