NATA 2020 registration reopens; option for online home proctored test available

N EW DELHI: Council of Architecture (COA) has re-released NATA application form for the first and second attempt in online mode. Candidates can now fill the online application form till August 12, 2020. The correction window for the already registered candidates is also available till the same date through NATA login. For the first attempt, the NATA 2020 exam date has been scheduled as August 29, 2020.

Consent for Place of Examination
COA has provided the option for candidates to choose their place of examination. Candidates can now opt to attempt NATA exam at their place of residence/stay on Laptop/PC or at the exam centres allotted by the authorities. Registered candidates have also been given the facility to change their residential address and choice of exam cities through NATA login.
Guidelines for Online Home Proctored Test
Candidates who opt to attempt the NATA exam from their residence will be required to appear only from the address provided during registration. Geo-location of the candidate along with the laptop/PC will be captured and matched with the address provided. Change of address can be done by the candidates, if they wish to. The minimum requirements for the home proctored NATA 2020 exam are:

Laptop/PC with minimum 2 GB RAM and with updated web browser either Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome.

Compatible web camera.

Laptop/System should have a Mic(Microphone).

Active Full-time/Broadband internet connection of at least 1Mbps.

Electricity Backup of at least 4 Hours(Generator,inverter,UPS).
About NATA 2020
NATA 2020 will be conducted in two attempts and the candidates will have the choice of attempting one exam or both for admissions into the participating institutes. For this session, Part-A Test (Drawing Test) will not be a paper based drawing test but will be conducted as a preferential choice type test which is to be answered on computer/laptop.
