NEW DELHI: The National Board of Examinations will conduct the Foreign Dental Screening Test (FDST) 2023 for BDS graduates on January 20. The NBE FDST 2023 admit card will be issued on January 15 on the official website, natboard.edu.in.
The screening test will be conducted for Indian citizens or Overseas Citizens of India having primary dental qualifications awarded by dental institutes outside India. The test will be held in Delhi NCR only.
Students can check the exam scheme, test-day instructions in the information bulletin available on the official website.
“The Screening test for Indian Citizens/OCI possessing PG Diploma/Post Graduate Dental qualifications awarded by dental institution outside India shall be conducted separately, details of which shall be notified in due course,” NBE said in an official notification.

FDST 2023 exam consists of two papers, consisting of 100 and 150 multiple choice questions. The test will be conducted in the English language only. The first question paper has been allotted 120 minutes and the time allocation for the second is 180 minutes. Students will get a break of two hours between the two papers.
As per the FDST 2023 marking scheme, candidates will be awarded one mark for each correct answer. There will be no negative marking.
Candidates will have to score 50 percent marks in the exam in order to qualify for the viva-voce. The viva will be conducted for 50 marks and students will need to score 50% in it separately.
