NBEMS DNB Post Diploma final mop-up round from January 13; who is eligible?

Check NowNEW DELHI: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced an additional round of DNB Post Diploma counselling 2024 to fill the remaining vacant seats after the completion of second round counselling.
Only registered candidates who have not been allotted seats in the first two rounds will be eligible to participate in the DNB Post Diploma final mop-up round. Such candidates will have to make the payment of the first-year course fee to participate in the final mop-up round counselling.
The fee payment facility will be made available on the official website, natboard.edu.in, from January 13 to 16. During this period, candidates will also have to fill in choices in the order of preference.
The NBE will conduct the DNB Post Diploma Centralized Entrance Test (PDCET 2025) on February 23, as per the NBEMS exam calendar 2025 .
DNB final mop-up round: Who is not eligible?
Candidates who did not complete the previous counselling process will not be eligible for DNB Post Diploma final mop-up round counselling.
- Seat allotted candidates who have opted not to freeze the same, or
- have not paid the first-year course fee after freezing the seat, or
- Failed to join the institute allotted after fee payment, or
- Failed to produce original documents after payment of course fee.
- Failed to fulfill eligibility criteria after payment of first-year fee.

DNB mop-up counselling dates
Candidates who fail to join their allotted institution in the final mop-up round of DNB counseling by January 27 will lose their DNB post diploma seat and their first-year course fee will be forfeited, the board said.
