NCERT to declare NTSE stage 2 Result soon

NEW DELHI, AUGUST 29: National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) will release the result of National Talent Search Examination or NTSE Stage 2 soon. Students who appeared for the second stage of NTSE 2018 on May 13, 2018 will be able to check their result in the official website.

The result of will be made available in PDF format in NCERT’s official website and will include the names of around 1000 candidates selected for the scholarship. Students whose names are listed in NTSE result for stage 2 will be awarded a monthly stipend provided they secure 60% of total marks in each final exam and take up studies in approved courses. For continuation of the scholarship, awardees are required to maintain proper attendance, must not be employed and should not accept any other scholarship.
Students studying Humanities, Languages, Sciences, Social Sciences, Commerce, vocational studies or Fine Arts will be eligible for the scholarship up to Ph.D. level. However, those studying professional courses in Management, Medicine, Engineering, Technology or Law will be awarded NTSE scholarship amount only up to their post-graduation.
In order to continue NTSE scholarship , qualified students have to submit a claim bill to NCERT every year (made available in the official website). Students studying in 10+2 level will be granted a monthly stipend of Rs. 1,250. NTSE scholarship amount for UG and PG levels is Rs. 2,000 while those pursuing PhD will receive an amount as specified by UGC.
