A total of 15.97 lakh students have reportedly appeared for the NEET 2020 exam held from 2 to 5. What after NEET 2020? NTA is expected to declare the official NEET 2020 answer keys within a week or so. The expected NEET result date is last week of September according to reports. However, it may also take a bit of time unless NTA manages to process all OMR sheets.

Synopsis: All questions were based on the NCERT textbook. Statements directly taken from the NCERT textbooks. Straightforward questions ; easy to comprehend. One controversial question with more than one correct answer. Not lengthy. Students should have completed the Chemistry part within 45 minutes. Enough time for revision. Barely a few calculations. An average student should have been able to attempt approximately 40 questions with ease. While others could have attempted 44 questions.

BOTANY-  Difficulty level was high in comparison to previous years

25 questions from class XI and 19 from class XII. 1-2 controversial questions with more than one correct answer. Two questions were beyond the NCERT textbooks. Majority of questions were conceptual in nature with a few fact-based questions as well. Not at all lengthy.

ZOOLOGY - Difficulty level was Moderate with a few exceptions.

Multi-conceptual questions requiring incisive thinking and precision. Some questions were tricky; lost in terminology.

MBBS and BDS counselling as per NEET 2020 exam

Once the result is declared, candidates will have to apply for the counselling. While admissions to all medical courses are through NEET 2020, the MBBS and BDS counselling is held together and the Ayush courses separately.

MBBS and BDS admissions through NEET will be through two main channels - All India which is done by DGHS for MCI for 15% of the seats in all Government medical and dental colleges of the country plus all seats in AIIMs, JIPMER, Deemed universities and Central universities as well as AFMC.

State wise counselling will be through the state medical councils only. Candidates must check the eligibility for the same before applying. Seats under these counselling will be the 85% of the seats in respective govt colleges and private colleges and universities.

However Careers360 experts say that the Physics paper had 24 easy questions and 21 moderate while Chemistry had 25 easy questions and 20 moderate. Money being charged at NEET exam centres; NTA denied for money

Through a Twitter post, at Meridian School, candidates are being asked to carry three passport size photographs. However, students were asked to carry 2 passport size photographs as mentioned in the NEET admit card 2020.

National Testing Agency (NTA) has replied to the tweet stating that, "No money is to be charged. NTA has provided that in case someone fails to bring the photo, the same can be clicked at the centre, free of charge. Also, one photo already pasted on Admit Card, and one spare for Attendance Sheet is needed."
