NEET 2021: NTA to release official answer key after October 13; Know more details
The NEET official answer key 2021 will be released along with the question papers and recorded responses. NEET 2021 scores can be calculated using the marking scheme set by NTA.
NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the official answer keys for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) at neet.nta.nic.in. The NEET official answer key 2021 release date is after October 13 following the closing of the correction window. Along with the answer keys, the authorities will also release the NEET 2021 OMR sheet including the recorded responses.

With the help of the NEET official answer key 2021, candidates will be able to calculate their estimated scores obtained by them in the test. NEET 2021 scores must be calculated considering the marking scheme. Go to the official NTA NEET 2021 website, neet.nta.nic.in
Click on the link that says “Challenge NEET-UG 2021 answer key”
Log in with your application number and password
Click on key challenge and select a test booklet code
Select the question numbers and click on Submit
Choose the answer that you believe is correct
Click on "Confirm"
Pay the objection filing fee which is Rs 1000 for every challenged answer. and keep the confirmation slip for future reference
How to calculate NEET 2021 scores
According to the NEET 2021 marking scheme, 4 marks will be awarded for every correct answer, one mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer, while no mark will be awarded for an unattempted question. To simplify things, the formula to calculate the scores for NEET 2021 is mentioned below.
NEET scores = total correct answers X 4 - total wrong answers X 1

NTA is also expected to release the NEET result 2021 date and time on the official website. NEET 2021 results will be announced in the form of a scorecard mentioning the candidate’s subject-wise scores, All India Rank (AIR) and other details. Through NEET 2021 scores, admission to medical, dental, BSc nursing, veterinary and AYUSH courses will be granted.
