NEET 2022 topper Tanishka aims to join AIIMS Delhi, says don’t hesitate to ask questions

NEW DELHI: Tanishka from Rajasthan bagged All India Rank 1 in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG 2022) result by scoring 715 marks. This year, NEET UG 2022 saw highest registration of 18,72,343, of which 56.34% cleared the exam.

Tanishka, aspiring to pursue MBBS from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS)) Delhi wants to do specialization in cardio, neuro or oncology and said, “I want to become a doctor because it is such a field in which you can establish yourself by helping others.” The NEET 2022 AIQ topper was a student at Allen Career Institute, Kota.
The institute said, “NEET preparation, she used to ask as many questions as possible to understand the concepts in depth and never hesitated.” “When sometimes the marks were less in the test, then the parents used to motivate her. They never pressurized her for marks and motivated her preparation with positivity,” it added.
She used to do self-study for 6-7 hours daily. Tanishka passed Class 12 this year with 98.6 percent marks. While in Class 10 she had secured 96.4 percent. Apart from bagging the NEET AIR 1, she has qualified Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main 2022) by securing 99.50 percentile.

Tanishka's father Krishna Kumar and mother Sarita Kumari both are government school teachers.
Top 4 AIQ NEET toppers have secured the same marks, however, Tanishka secured NEET AIQ Rank 1 based on the NTA NEET tie-breaking criteria. Among the top 50 NEET 2022 rank holders, only 16 are female candidates.
Allen Career Institute advised NEET aspirants “to prepare for the target from the very first day, and not at the last minute. As the course progresses in the classroom, you will have to revise the previous studies again and again. You can make small notes topic-wise.”
