Candidates who appeared for the NEET can now access and download the revised NEET 2024 result by visiting the official website at exams.nta.ac.in/NEET/. The NEET 2024 retest was conducted in 7 exam centres-Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Haryana, Meghalaya, and Chandigarh, a Union Territory. The NEET 2024 re-exam was conducted from 2 pm to 5:20 pm.
NEET Re-Test Result 2024: Scores of students who skipped re-exam
The NEET 2024 retest took place on June 23, for 1,563 candidates who received compensatory marks in the original exam held on May 5, 2024. Out of these, only 813 candidates appeared for the NEET re-exam 2024 while,750 students skipped the re-test. As per NTA, for students who skipped the NEET re-test 2024 , the original scores secured before the addition of grace marks will be considered final.
NEET Toppers List 2024: Number of AIR 1 rankers reduced to 61
As per the NEET toppers list 2024 announced on June 4, 67 candidates grabbed the All India Rank (AIR) 1. However, the NEET 2024 reexam result reveals that none of the 813 candidates who appeared for the re-exam achieved a perfect score of 720/720, leading to a decrease in the number of perfect scorers from 67 to 61. As per Indian Express report, five out of the six candidates who originally scored 720/720 maintained scores above 680 in the retest.
