NEET UG 2026 City Slip (OUT) LIVE: NTA issues allotment slip; admit card soon, exam on May 3

As per the NTA NEET 2026 guidelines, all answers have to be marked using a ballpoint pen. The ballpoint pen will be provided inside the exam hall. 

Candidates have to mark the test booklet code on the NEET OMR sheet; failing which will lead to problems. All rough work has be done in the space provided in the test booklet

Once the answers are marked in the OMR sheet can't be erased.

After the NEET exam 2026 is conducted and the results are announced, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will conduct counselling for MBBS and BDS admissions.

The testing agency will conduct NEET UG 2026 exam on May 3.

The NEET question paper consists of 180 multiple-choice questions, each worth 4 marks. The exam includes questions from the Class 11 and 12 syllabus of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. According to the NEET 2026 marking scheme, 1 mark is deducted for every incorrect answer.

National Medical Commission (NMC) has finalised the NEET UG 2026 syllabus, and has not removed chapters from any of the three subjects, including physics, chemistry, and biology. The question paper will be based on the NCERT syllabus.

The number of questions asked in the NEET UG 2026 exam in each section is as follows:

• Physics: 45 questions
• Chemistry: 45 questions
• Biology (Botany and Zoology combined): 90 questions

NEET UG 2026 paper comprises four sections including:

• Botany
• Zoology

NTA NEET UG 2026 exam will be held from 2 pm to 5 pm.
