NEW DELHI: The National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) answer key 2024 is likely to be issued this week, as per some media reports. More than 24 lakh candidates who appeared for the medical entrance exam are waiting for the NEET UG 2024 answer key. The link to download the provisional answer key will be made available at exams.nta.ac.in/NEET/ and nta.ac.in.

NEET UG 2024 was conducted on May 5 in pen and paper mode for admission to MBBS and BDS programmes in medical colleges across the country. The exam was held for a duration of three hours from 2 pm to 5 pm.
The provisional answer key of NEET 2024 will help candidates calculate their probable scores in the exam. Moreover, in case candidates find discrepancies in the answers, they will be given the opportunity to raise objections against the NEET UG answer key 2024 . The NEET 2024 final answer key will be prepared on the basis of challenges submitted by the candidates.
As per the marking scheme, candidates will be awarded four marks for each correct answer. There will be a negative marking of one mark for every wrong answer.

Steps to download NEET UG 2024 answer key
Once released, students will be able to download the NEET 2024 answer key using these steps:
- Go to the official website of NEET, exams.nta.ac.in/NEET/
- Click on the link to download the answer key
- Enter login credentials if required
- NEET UG answer key PDF will be displayed
- Download the PDF and raise objections, if any
