NEW DELHI: The National Board of Examinations (NBE) has announced the revised National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Master of Dental Surgery (NEET MDS 2022). As per the latest notice released by the NBE, the NEET MDS 2022 will now be held on May 2, 2022.
The NEET MDS 2022 online application window for submission of applications which was closed on January 24, 2022, will now be reopened on March 21, 2022. “In order to enable desirous candidates to apply for NEET-MDS 2022 in view of the revised cut-off date for internship completion to July 31, 2022,” the NBE informed.

The ministry of health and family welfare on February 17 said that it may postpone the NEET MDS 2022 by 4-6 weeks and preferably around the same date as that for NEET-PG 2022.

Candidates who have already submitted their applications and successfully paid the examination fee for NEET-MDS 2022 during January 4 to January 24 will not be allowed to edit their applications when edit window reopens again.
This comes as a relief to the dental students who have been requesting an update on the eligibility criteria of NEET MDS 2022 and to postpone NEET MDS 2022. The NEET MDS 2022 aspirants wrote letters to the Dental Council of India and also Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya to postpone the exam and extend the internship deadline. As per the letter, the medical aspirants claimed that the 2,500 students will be ineligible if exam is not postponed.
