NEW DELHI: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will announce the result for National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test for Masters of Dental Surgery (NEET MDS) 2024 by April 18, as per the information bulletin. Candidates who appeared for the exam will be able to check the NEET MDS result 2024 through the official website, natboard.edu.in.
The NEET MDS 2024 result will consist of important details such as roll number, scores obtained out of the total, NEET MDS 2024 rank, and application ID. Candidates will have to use their login credentials such as registration number and date of birth to download the NEET MDS result 2024.
The NEET MDS 2024 exam was conducted on March 18 in a single shift, from 9 am to 12 pm. The NEET MDS 2024 was held for admission to around 6,228 Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) seats available in 259 dental colleges across the country.

NEET MDS Result 2024: Tie-breaking policy
If multiple candidates achieve the same score, their ranking will be determined by the following tie-breaking criteria-
- The candidate with fewer incorrect responses across both Part A and Part B of the paper will be ranked higher.
- Among tied candidates, the one with a higher score specifically in Part B of the question paper will be ranked higher.
- If there is still a tie, the candidate with fewer incorrect responses in Part B of the question paper will be ranked higher.
- In the event of continued equality, the older candidate will be ranked higher.
The NEET MDS 2024 entrance exam comprised 240 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) divided into Parts A and B. Part A had 100 questions and Part B with 140 questions. For every correct answer, candidates will receive four marks, while there is a penalty of one mark for each incorrect answer. The NEET MDS exam 2024 was held for three hours duration.
