The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Master of Dental Surgery (NEET MDS) counselling information bulletin and counselling scheme. Interested candidates can check rules, eligibility requirements and seat-allotment process details now. The bulletin covers counselling for 50% All India Quota (AIQ) seats, 100% seats in participating Deemed Universities and relevant Central Universities/Institutes.
MCC will conduct four rounds of AIQ counselling-round 1, round 2, round 3 and AIQ stray vacancy round.
The information bulletin does not provide calendar dates for the individual counselling rounds
Candidates participating in MDS counselling have to pay a non-refundable registration fee and refundable security deposit.

Security deposit may be forfeited in certain circumstances, including failure to join a seat allotted in round 2 or subsequent rounds or cancellation of admission due to specified reasons.

Candidates satisfied with their allotted seat and not seeking upgradation can opt for freeze. Such candidates have to physically visit the allotted institute for joining. Candidates who want to upgrade their seat in the next round can opt for float and complete the required document verification online without physically visiting the allotted institute.
Candidates must upload clear scanned copies of mandatory documents on the MCC portal. MCC has also stated that counselling details, including the schedule and latest updates, will be published on its official website.
