Try NowThe Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the schedule for NEET MDS Counselling 2026 for admission to MDS courses under the 50% All India Quota (AIQ) and 100% seats of deemed universities, central universities and the Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS). The Round 1 registration and payment window will open on August 18, 2026, and candidates can register till 3 pm on August 23.
According to the schedule, the NEET MDS 2026 round 1 seat allotment result will be announced on August 26. Candidates allotted seats in the first round will have to report to their respective colleges from August 27 to September 1. Institutes will verify the data of joined candidates on September 2.

NEET MDS 2026 stray vacancy round
After the three regular counselling rounds, MCC will conduct an online stray vacancy round. Registration and payment for this round will be available from October 12 to October 14, with payment allowed until 6 pm on October 14.
Choice filling will continue from October 12 to October 15, while choice locking will be available from 4 pm on October 14 to 10 am on October 15. The stray vacancy seat allotment result will be announced on October 16. Candidates allotted seats will have to report from October 17 to October 24.
NEET MDS Counselling 2026: Documents required
Candidates participating in NEET MDS 2026 counselling are advised to keep the following documents ready for registration, verification and reporting:
- NEET MDS 2026 admit card
- NEET MDS 2026 scorecard/result
- BDS degree certificate
- BDS marksheets
- Internship completion certificate
- Permanent or provisional registration certificate
- Valid photo ID proof
- Date of birth proof
- Recent passport-size photographs
- Category certificate, if applicable
- PwD certificate, if applicable
- NRI/OCI documents, wherever applicable
- Migration certificate, if required
- Other documents specified by the allotted institute
The MCC has also directed participating institutes and colleges to treat Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted holidays as working days to ensure that the counselling schedule is completed within the available time.
