NEET MDS Counselling 2026 round 2 provisional seat allotment out; check institute, course details

The provisional National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Master of Dental Surgery counselling 2026 round 2 seat allotment details have been released. Candidates can check the course and institute allotted to them across All India and other eligible quotas. Other details to check include candidate-wise allotment information, including rank, quota, institute, course, category and the status of round 2 allotment.

The provisional allotment document includes 1,818 candidate entries and covers seats under quotas, including All India, Delhi University, Aligarh Muslim University, Armed Forces Medical, Muslim Minority, NRI and Self-Financed Merit Seat, among others. The document also provides the corresponding category details, including Open, OBC, EWS, SC and ST categories.

The updated allotment list includes candidates who have retained their round 1 seats, received an upgraded seat, or received a fresh allotment in the second round.

Many candidates have received upgraded seats in the second round. The list also includes fresh round 2 allotments across government and private dental colleges. These include seats in courses such as Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics, Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, Prosthodontics and Crown and Bridge, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Periodontology, Paediatric and Preventive Dentistry, and Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology and Oral Microbiology. The document also contains allotments under reserved categories.

Steps to check NEET MDS counselling 2026 round 2 seat allotment

Candidates can follow these steps to check their NEET MDS Round 2 seat allotment:

• Go to the official MCC website
• On the homepage, go to the NEET MDS counselling section
• Click on the link that reads, “Provisional NEET-MDS Counselling Seats Allotment - 2026 Round 2”
• Provisional seat allotment document will open on the screen
• Use CTRL+F to look for rank or other relevant details
• Check the allotted institute, course, quota and category mentioned against your entry
• Download the allotment document and keep a copy for future references

The provisional list includes allotments at institutes such as Maulana Azad Institute and Dental Sciences, New Delhi; Faculty of Dental Sciences, KGMU, Lucknow; Institute of Medical Sciences, BHU, Varanasi; Government Dental College and Hospital, Mumbai; Government Dental College, Chennai; and Post Graduate Institute of Dental Sciences, Rohtak.

MCC has also issued a note for candidates whose category or quota has changed in the same institution and course. Such candidates are required to obtain an online-generated relieving letter and take admission against the changed category or quota seat. They must also obtain a fresh online-generated admission letter for the changed category or quota, failing which the allotted seat will be cancelled due to non-admission.
