Use NowNEW DELHI: The National Board of Examinations (NBE) has concluded the National Eligbility-cum-Entrance Test-Postgraduate (NEET PG 2023) exam. The board will now declare the NEET PG results 2023 by March 31, 2023, on the official website, nbe.edu.in or natboard.edu.in. The NBE announced the NEET PG result date 2023 in the notification.
Along with the NEET PG 2023 results, the board will also be announcing the cut-off, toppers. Candidates will be able to download the NEET PG 2023 scorecard from the NBE official website.
The NEET PG 2023 cut-off for general category candidates is 50th percentile, while the cut-off for reserved category is 40th percentile. The previous year’s cut-off for the general category was 275 marks while that for SC/ST/OBC and General-PH was 245 and 260 marks respectively.
The NEET PG merit list 2023 will be prepared based on the ranks secured by the candidates. Once the merit list is out, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will conduct the NEET PG counselling 2023. The NEET PG 2023 counselling is expected to begin 4 months later.
The MCC will conduct the counselling for 50% AIQ, 100% state quota seats, deemed/central universities, ESIC/AFMS, private institutes. The remaining 50% AIQ seats will be filled under NEET PG counselling 2023 done by respective state counselling authorities.
Candidates will be allotted admission to 26,168 Doctor of Medicine (MD), 13,649 Master of Surgery (MS), 922 PG Diploma and 1,338 DNB CET seats. The seat allotment will be done based on NEET PG 2023 result, choices filled by candidates, availability of seats, reservation criteria among other factors.
