Try NowNEW DELHI: The National Board of Examinations of Medical Sciences (NBEMS) is expected to issue the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test - Postgraduate (NEET PG 2024) notification tomorrow, January 7, as per past trends. Medical aspirants who wish to appear in the NEET PG 2024 exam scheduled on March 3 can download the brochure from the official website, natboard.edu.in.

Last year, the NBE had uploaded the NEET PG information bulletin on January 7 and the NEET PG registration began on January 27 for admission to 26,168 Doctor of Medicine (MD), 13,649 Master of Surgery (MS) and 922 PG Diploma in 6,102 government, private, deemed/central universities.
Candidates have started requesting on social media to clarify the NEET PG application form date 2024. Some of the medicos have also flagged fake news on NEET PG postponement 2024. "The NEET-PG examination is likely to be held in the first week of July. The counselling is likely to begin in the first week of August," the PTI quoted a source as saying.

As per the NBE exam calendar 2024 released in November 2023, the NEET MDS exam 2024 will be held on February 9; a month before NEET PG exam.
Recently, the National Medical Commission (NMC) published the “Post-Graduate Medical Education Regulations, 2023” (PGMER-23). As per the guidelines, students will be able to now avail 20 days of paid leave, they will be provided with residential accommodation.
Candidates who have completed their MBBS degree or provisional pass certificate from a recognized medical institute of India will be eligible to apply. They should possess a provisional or permanent registration certificate issued by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council (SMC) and should have completed their 12 months rotatory internship. The internship deadline will be notified in the NEET PG notification 2024.
