Use NowNEW DELHI: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will start the choice filling facility for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test postgraduate (NEET PG 2024) counselling today. Candidates will have to submit application form and choices of courses and colleges before November 17 to be considered for round 1 counselling.
The NEET PG counselling schedule was recently notified on the official website, mcc.nic.in, for admission into MD, MS, MDS, DNB courses. Later, on November 6, the MCC revised the NEET PG counselling brochure to include the Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS) counselling details and eligibility conditions.
From this academic year on, the MCC will be conducting the AFMC counselling for priority 3, 4, and 5 candidates.
Candidates who have registered for the NEET PG round 1 counselling will be able to lock choices from 4pm to 11.55 pm on November 17. Based on merit, seat availability, choices submitted, and past cut-off trends, the MCC will allot seats for the eligible candidates on November 20.
Candidates are allowed to submit as many choices as they wish, however, it has to be submitted in the order of preference as the allotment is done on the basis of choices submitted by the qualified candidate in order of preference given by the candidate and as per availability. The counselling committee will open a new registration and choice filing window after each round of counselling.
